Each cleaning process has its advantages and each floor possesses its own challenges.
Hot Water Extraction (HWE)- This process utilizes a truck mounted carpet cleaning machine in which a cleaning solution is sprayed on the carpet or tile. It is then agitated to break up the soil. Finally, the cleaning solution and soil is rinsed and extracted from the flooring.
Bonnet Cleaning - Bonnet Cleaning removes soil by “absorbing it”, along with a cleaning agent, onto a cloth bonnet from the carpet fibers. One advantage of bonnet cleaning is that the carpet is usually dry within one hour of cleaning.
This process is sometimes used in conjunction with HWE to aid in breaking up the soil associated with heavy traffic areas.
Encapsulation - A remarkable cleaning agent that “encapsulates” the soil, dries to a hard crystal, and is then easily vacuumed from the carpet.
